So I just opened up this randall cab I've had for some time, it has 4 Celesiton V30's, 16 ohm and 60 watts a piece made in the UK, just wondering what these are going for? These have hardly been used, not even sure if they are fully broken in. Either way, the cab is too heavy to ship with them all and I am looking to just sell these individually. I'm pretty new to the world of speaker swapping and pricing

Cant post a picture of them at the moment, but it is the G12 vintage 30's

What they for and what people
Try to sell them for are different. People are willing to pay more locally to avoid shipping costs, but the market is slow. The used prices on line are skewed by shipping as if shipping is included it eats at your profit. I ha e sold severa in the past year and not only did they take a while to sell, I was only able to clear $75-80 each

Prob 70-80 apiece plus 15 per to ship.

Thanks for the info, looking on ebay and reverb I see too many people over pricing them so I was quite lost on the price lol.

I didn't realize Randall put UK V30s in their older cabs. Didn't think they used V30s till later on. I know my XL 412 had Chinese ones...

I used to believe that the British version or Mesa proprietary were better than the Chinese V30s. But over time I've come to realize that it's the cab that makes the biggest difference. I have a Mesa 4x12, right next to a Rivera 4x12. They sound virtually identical. Mesa has British V30s, Rivera chinese. Rivera cabs are built just like the Bogner cabs.
Quality cab=Quality tone.

truth!

I agree on the cab being the biggest factor, these are in my Randall XL cab, but after looking up differences between chinese and UK these appear to be UK. But I'm just not fan of v30's in general so I'd like to move them

Honestly, I felt the same way until I played through the Rivera cab. Totally changed my perspective on V30s. Sounded fat, full and had no high end spike...instead was a sweet top end.
I really think if you off the cab completely and grab a Bogner/Rivera/Mesa/Diezel for a good price it'll sound way better, and whatever speakers are in there will floor you.

A vintage 30 can yield nice results if it is not pushed like crazy. People complain about the spike when pushed, it tracks nicely when not pushed. Good speaker for some things for sure.

And don't forget Fryette cabs - they're different. In a very very good way.
Bogner, Diezel and Friedman are all made by BAD right now in N. America, so they're all the same wooden boxes. Rivera's are amazing - not sure where the newer ones are made(??). But for a quality cabinet that takes swaps aplomb; go Fryette.

What is the T number? It's either stamped on the speaker somewhere or printed on a small white label.
