Question for Dave (or maybe one of you guys know?)

Hey, somewhat recently picked up a friedman modded jcm800, wondering, when the amps are in for the mods, are they given a checkup? (caps. tube socket tension etc...) My 2204 is a 1981, just wanting a little piece of mind as Im about to take this thing out for alot of gigging. Was thinking about having a tech just look it over, but if I can save the money I will. Amp was modded 4 years ago according to the previous owner. The head isnt acting weird or anything, but I always get a little nervous about heavily gigging older amps without having the checked out.

Yes I go over them. But tubes can always go at anytime or last for a really long time. If it working good leave it alone.

Yeah, i know tubes are no guarantee, I've had bad ones right out of the before. My main concern was with the caps and other components. Do you guys do endorsement deals?

I've been around that amp ALLOT and can assure you it's all good.

Its a monster of an amp!!! Just making sure, its looking like its gonna be my busiest summer yet as far as gigging goes... just trying to cover my bases
