Hmmm...Zack H. calls and Peter S. comes runing? I'm no detective, but I definately smell some preferential treatment going on here! You guys at Diezel act as if Hetfield is some iconic, inovator and legend in in the realm of heavy music

In all seriousness, Jones and Hetfield are definately considered by many to be two of the most influencial players in recent history...And both are clearly partial to the Diezel tone. Must make Peter and company very proud.

No it's not, it's Adam Jones! I saw my first Diezel at a Tool gig and went and looked them up. Who is this Diezel amp company who made up 1/3rd of Adam Jones' lovely sound? Not sure anyone else famous was playing them then, at least not visibly on stage anywhere I went. The next year I saw him the Diezel's made up 2/3rds of his lovely sound!

Gotta love Hetfield though. He still deserves one second!

I quite like Kirk's sound, I think it complements the Metallica sound overall. I think guitarists in the same band having different sounds adds to the textures of the music and makes it seem bigger. The band I used to be in had two guitarists with two different styles and different sounds and it always seemed to work very well.
