The TGP model wont work here because most of the guys do not really like the TGP model, it is a good site with cool info when they are not being shrills for builders but this is not a TGP crowd. For one we are way too metal for that place 
Most came here from HCAF when it was cool, posting clips, s little behind the backstop beatings, and just talking gear in a metal context.
Carl flame wars? No but a beat down when needed,..........hell ya.
The problem is that TGP is a nitch for the foofoo guys to talk about pixie dust wood and beltsander mojo while dropping enough to coin to feed a 3rd world country....that is why their guitar forum moves because they dont have any other place to go. This place is more down to earth for the most part without the highbrow sniffers. The stuff most of us play are covered by other forums hence the rather slow sub forums. HRI combines everything and has a pretty cool group of guys, like RT for the most part.
Perhaps when we have over 10,000 subs but this forum needs to continue to grow first to have sub forums, just spread the word, put RT in your sigs on other forums and it just may come.
