Just did this video for the company that I used to work for, and really got a kick out of it. It's the cheapest amp in the Quilter line, and it's a fun no nonsense little amp. I just used my Les Paul, a Two Notes Torpedo Reload and some IR's of Greenbacks.

I have to fly to the East Coast for some shows this spring, and something like this would make for an easy pedalboard rig. Any of you guys gigging with this or the Pro Block 200?

I did a few fly gigs this past year and have another coming up at the end of Jan.
Tried the Power Block 200 coupled with my Fractal AX8, into a 4X12...ROCK!!
Throw the Quilter in your luggage and boom.
No need to worry or rely on a backline that isn't yours.

Personally I don't enjoy the "distorted" tones as much, yet the cleans are wonderful.
I grabbed the 200 to have plenty of clean headroom.
So, with a small pedalboard, with the AX8, it's a great little rig AND powerful enough.

Best of luck

That lead was really cool. I've wanted one of these ever since I've found out about them. I used to have a 44 magnum but these just seem better and have more power.

Is this class AB? Love my matrix gm-50, will try this if so.

these are great back up heads for gigging players. Clean channel with a CM Plexitone or Friedman BE will
get you through the night if your main head goes down. Sits in my gig bag ready to rescue me if necessary.

Funny you should mention that. I just did a PlexiTone video for them, and since the Quilter was sitting here I ended up using it for the demo. It seemed totally usable.

I have a Mini 101 that I use either as a pedal platform or to power my AX8 into a 3rd Power 2x12. Great little amp that performs way beyond the price of admission.

Where do you have this? I mean you put it in a cab or a rack or something?

I agree , excellent demo

Thanks guys! It can be a bit of a guessing game sometimes to decide what features to highlight/showcase...but I'm glad they're at least moderately entertaining!

Me too. When I can't take my wizard I take this with what I call my "active pedalboard" a jampedals box that has about 8-9 effects a and a loop that I can insert in a preferred AIAB pedal for that situation and just slam the Quilter. A couple of guys I know laughed until they heard it and it makes their pedal into a fender sound thin. I do try to wheel in my Wizard 50w 2x12 combo when I can though, as nothing beats that, but loud as fuck.

Need to check out the 3rd power 2x12 though.

Yeah they make a cool portable rig for pedals. I'm using a Strymon Riverside for my gain tones I think it sounds pretty good. The 3rd Power 2x12's are great and worth the money if you can find them used. New they are a bit pricey. Nice and full sounding and not super directional... pretty close in fullness to a 4x12.
