R.I P. Gary Richrath

Tragic news.
I am a longtime Richrath fan, and was sorry to see his personal demons cause him so many problems.
I was one of the few hoping that he could get things under control, and take Cronin up on his offer to
re-join REO for atleast one tour.

RIP Gary.

I remember watching REO on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert when I first started playing guitar. A huge influence for me when I was young. Loved his playing and High Infidelity is one of my desert island albums.

Bummer !!
He was a great writer and player !!
He had killer feel and vibrato !!
One solo that sticks is on roll with the changes .

RIP... Great guitarist and songwriter... Loved Roll with the Changes, Ridin' the Storm Out, Time for Me to Fly, Keep Pushin'. So many killer tunes...

What happened to him over the years though??:

Started following the yngwie diet......

Anyway, great underrated player. Very tasty licks on those Les Paul's of his
