Another great player & influence is now gone. Damn! REO played a high school here in Bay City in 77 and I started playing right after that. Gary's playing at that show made me want to pick up guitar.

Tragic news.
I am a longtime Richrath fan, and was sorry to see his personal demons cause him so many problems.
I was one of the few hoping that he could get things under control, and take Cronin up on his offer to
re-join REO for atleast one tour.

RIP Gary.

I remember watching REO on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert when I first started playing guitar. A huge influence for me when I was young. Loved his playing and High Infidelity is one of my desert island albums.
