Hilarious. That was my favorite NAMM ever. RB was arrested at that show. The punch bowl of Absolut Vodka and Red Bull was awesome. They unleashed a crazy octopus looking amp that never got released.

Hey Steve! Happy New year! I remember that. He was already on a tear by 11am IIRC. That was awesome. Do you rememeber.. I brought a back pack full of the freshest best and also oiliest smoked salmon..

It was funny watching people in the music booths (some vendors and artists included...Peter.. ) haha.. Th elite of music industry caught wolfing down the goods and then wreaking of smoked fish with their fingers dripping with oil. It was funny as hell but no one was complaining cause that fish was good. ( it was really ralph's kidney in a jar.. ) Funny stuff.


Then came the hotel room that became the Fart Tank with Kage, Ralph, Bob .. Capped that one off with some drunk dining at Dennys with the same crew plus Mark C. omg !! tears of laughter in recollection of that one. Definitely the funnest NAMM show ever for me!

Happy New Year to you too! Yes that was a great show. I missed out on your smoked salmon dammit. That show had Shawn Lane and some fantastic stuff. My favorite NAMM and RB was and crazy funny that day.

I might be getting my years mixed up? or maybe mixing a bit of each. Wasn't this the same year as the Tone Merchants gig with Ron Thal,Govan, Matiass Eklund Nick Sterling. They all played Diezels. Wasn't this the same year? I clearly remember the year the gauze bandit got ejected but cant remember what year it was and if it was the same year as that amazing show at Tone Merchants.

Hell yes those were some great Tone Merchant shows. I saw Greg Howe there with Jennifer Batten, Saw Guthrie several times, Steve Stevens etc. Great times I can't remember the years either. All a blur to me!

Don't think it matters much but yes, I would guess he likes a healthy dose of the johnson. He is always manicured and dresses the part. Still a fantastic builder and seems like a genuine guy. Take him any day over that annoying other bald german fella with the wordy shitty demos.
