I have a Crumar Mojo Suitcase with 25-note Hammond pedals....it's a clonewheel Hammond organ. It has a drive circuit that gets a little dirty. You can go into an editor and tweak it but that's not convenient while playing, if you want clean and overdriven organ sounds...

So I found this, a Lounsberry Gear Grinder; a stereo drive/distortion pedal for organ, which gets that Jon Lord, Ken Hensley, heavy overdriven Hammond organ sound. It's out for delivery today. it's dual version of their mono Organ Grinder pedal.

now I can get clean, light overdriven Hammond sounds, and heavy overdriven / distortion Hammond sounds...

So one of my old bands had an organ player/vocalist and it was such a pain to find him an overdrive pedal.

I wish this existed 20 years ago!

cool stuff !

I was surprised this was even being made. I can't imagine they sell many. I really like the Crumar organ, but the drive circuit is good, but doesn't go far enough. Then I found the Organ Grinder, thought I'd need two for the stereo outs of the Crumar, and found they have this stereo version.

wish I looked for this years ago.

exactly. I wish I found this years ago too. no idea how long its being made

Seriously we ended up using one of those clip on boss preamp things that the edge used, but it was a massive PITA - that band was one of my best bands, but it was so difficult transporting that organ around lol

...but how does it sound on guitar?
you, know, I'm going through a drive exploration now, including my Griffin Analog RSM Dual Drive...

I'll probably give this a try (edit: with guitar); it lists organ and bass; germanium based circuit

the Crumar Mojo Suitcase is the most portable I've seen so far with dual manuals

I'm just glad this exists, even though I probably will never have a use for one

Every band with an organ has run into this issue - like quite literally EVERY single one

I have a digital Vox Continental with a MIDI keyboard to simulate a Vox Super Continental. many of the Vox Continental players in the 60s were sponsored by Vox, and use Vox amps...so I got a Universal Audio Ruby pedal that simulates Vox amps, it has stereo in/out, and I have it set for an over driven tone...takes that Doors "light my Fire" organ into heavy territory - goes from happy / melancholy to mean. I run it into an Eventide H9.

edit: I first thought about a Universal Audio UAFX Lion '68 Super Lead (Marshall amp pedal), but I have the Tone King Royalist, and didn't want another Marshall in a box if I didn't like it with the Crumar.
