I don't think Reb would have a problem at all backing himself up on that. Although true, if given the opportunity, I think I'd rather be a bad guitar player with shitty tone in a mega-band making a shitload of money rather than being an awesome guitar player playing at fairs and local bars or in Whitesnake

Reb is a great guitarist and has much better shred technique than Hammett, but IMO Winger's music isn't very good and a lot of it is gayer than a box of dicks. I'd much rather be in Metallica given their catalog. That said, I'm not a fan of any recent Metallica and it would be nice if Kirk practiced and tried to come up with some new licks.

That is pretty much how I feel about it. As a kid, I was a huge fan of Kirk's playing on MoP. He never played like that again, IMO. That being said, Reb is a killer player and no doubt technically better than Hammett, but Winger had a layer of cheese on it that was too thick for me back in the day.

Exactly what I was thinking as well. I think Reb is a much better player than Kirk but I think ragging on other pro players in your industry is a douche bag thing to do. I dont care if he's right or not. It's really low class.

Plus I'd throw darts at a poster of Winger too. As upset as Reb about all that dart business, I bet Reb was just mad he wasn't throwing his skin dart at Kip's ass.
