This. I think her appeal comes from the fact that she looks like the type of gal who could be your best friend (she's gear knowledgeable and has a cute tomboy thing going on) and be a beast in the sack.Skrln":f3it019q said:

I think it's also the safety of saying whatever you want from behind a PC screen. Dude's will talk about bending her over in the sac and this and that, but if they walked past her at NAMM they wouldn't say a thing to her.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think she's kind of cute but not that hot.....I may be biased as in where I live, you cant go 2 minutes out in public without seeing a woman who makes Rebecca look pretty much fugly in comparison.

Well, she isn't unpleasant to look at, and the combination of that, plus she seems to like guitars and amps, well that makes her pretty interesting to me. But if I need to lust after someone I will never have, then she's way down on the list.
I am not sure what it would be like if my wife were into music/guitar anywhere near the extent I am. That might suck all the fun out of it, I am not sure. I think its good to have something my wife doesn't really understand. Rebecca Dirks is like the chick at the bar who sort of acts like a dude and is cool to hang out with because she's into guy stuff...in this case, guitars and amps.

My only intention was to celebrate what a great job she does and as an investigative reporter (about gear) she is a tenacious as any CNN or Fox news female reporter.
One gets the impression she could help set up the bands equipment, ect. and she is really sweet and genuinely nice. These are not traits that look I for with other reporters and it is refreshing to have her represent Premier Guitars, which is a fantastic mag/e-zine.
She is the web editor as well. Thanks for not making this thread into a demeaning, hot for teacher one.
I hope she reads this or it is brought to her attention. Thanks Rebecca, you are a 10 for me at your job. Not many others in the same field, you can say that about. Just look at other gear related web efforts and make the comparison.
