Recommend me a stereo multi-effect unit for Soldano X88-ir setup

While I am thoroughly enjoying the fractal kool aid... It would depend for me on how I wanted to set things up.

Pedal board, VP4, would work, its a lot of kit for the money.. unless you want to go to a big board with the Boss 500 pedals or Stry-fecta the VP4 effects would be really good for an all in 1 unit.

If going rack mount, that would change things up a lot... Axe FX would be a great candidate but would be very pricey, I would probably snag a Helix Rack and weave the pre amp in and out of loops to see if that would be something I would want to do.. with either you can model pretty much most of the power amps, and still have access to the other on board amps to change things up a little, you could run your pre infront of a SLO100 in the Axe!

As for the H9, it does not have analog dry through, so your signal is getting converted even when the pedal is not on. I would venture to guess the H90 is the same way.

I haven’t moved on anything yet. I still use the Boss Space Echo for the time being.

How does playing through two JEL cabs sound in mono with an amp head compared to just one? I've thought about getting another. Is there a difference when they are side by side like in the video or stacked?

The only head I ever used with these JEL 1x12's was the JEL 20. I did not get along with that amp whatsoever, so I got rid of it.
Kept the cabs until I could find a use for them.
Until I got the X88ir and Friedman power amp.
I have had them stacked when I had the JEL 20 head, but with this setup I needed to put the X88ir on one cab, the Freyette on the other.
I found those mini-dollys on Amazon, to lift them off the floor a bit. It doesn't sound like 1x12's when they are together like this. Pretty big sound.

The AXEFX III is the best option, you’ll never compromise using it. My next choice would be the FM9.

Hi, I'm also planning to buy an 88ir and I have a few questions I'm looking for answers to. I use the FCB1010 MIDI controllers for my existing rack preamps, see photo.
Midi: Very insufficient information about the MIDI editor, as usual, musicians will make manuals on YT. Where you can see the saved presets, the manual says you can save 128. In the video, I saw only 3 saved, which is always the setting for the current channel. For each channel, the Clean, Crunch/OD values are then changed using CC ... and so on.
I don't know if my FCB1010 can set that many CC variables for one channel. Also, no one mentions whether these changes (except for IR Cab which are only on XLR) will affect the stereo jack outputs.
So far, I've always used a 4cm connection from Engl to GSP1101. In the new setup, I'll have to put GSP1101 or G.Major into FX Soldano, because I want to use XLR for live performances directly to the PA. ( Does anyone here play directly into the PA? ) I've never played with NG in a loop, the other effects are OK. I want to use the equipment I already have, at least in the beginning. Thanks in advance for the advice and I apologize for the translation ( google )
