Recommend me some must have pedals for a Plexi amp.

I went out and a/b'd a bunch of the 'Boutique" pedals at a local store (and even came home with a few, only to return them).
I was not impressed with the 2 Analogman fuzzes or the Mad Professor.

Through what amps and at what volume though? These things are extremely important IMO, especially if we're talking Fuzz Face clones.

Ive ab/ed my Sunface NKT275 with a vintage Fuzz Face and it actually sounded better to me. Although that same Fuzz Face was one that EJ turned down when his tech tried to give it to him for free. EJ said something like, "Its almost there but not quite..."

The Sunface is the only Analogman pedal I own though. My other favorite fuzzface clone is the Foxrox Hot Silicon. Thats another amazing pedal. And it was very expensive either. $160 new.

If I was going to by a new vibe right now, it would be that KR Megavibe, the clips of that pedal sound right to my ears.
