My honest opinion. The riffing is awesome. I would like to hear more of the guitar, and bass.

I will agree with you on that. I think the drums are alittle over powering in areas... It's kinda strange though. When i listen to it on my laptop it doesnt sound that great on lower volumes but when i turn it up almost all the way it sounds alot better. it sounds best in a car with the volume almost all the way up. It really levels itself out.

wtf has happened to the metal genre.....

I really understand where you are coming from RJF...... It changed man. you either change with it or end up like those middle age people who say the greatest band in the world is areosmith......

And 14 years from now when your belly is a little bigger, and your hair is a little thinner. You just might find yourself in your local watering hole after a day of mowing the lawn and scooping up dog shit having a chat with your buddy about how great Aerosmith was. :D

No... I'll be talking about how great Opeth was and stuff like that.... hahahahaha

The genre is beyond me sure, but holy shit dude this is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reminds me of an unholy union of the exorcist, a jackhammer and Racer X or something.

I know it.... I try my hardest to stay in the loop of music. I do a pretty good job of it i think. It's always changing and evolving. It's just as bad as technology.

Hahahaha thanks man!!!

I actuly think some band are pushing it to new levals. Bands like between the buried and me, the contortinists and even heavier bands like brain drill. The first bass player from brain drill is outstanding. There is alot of people that think Cannibal corpse sucks and cant play but check out the bass players side project blotted science their first album and he has some pretty intricate bass lines. A lot of the older generation of metal heads cant get passed the gut wrenching vocals but I seam to like em. Check out animals as leaders all instrumental no vocals and I bet you will find some qualities to the music. I have always been into the real heavey stuff like Carcass, Napalm death and the older cryptic slaughter although cryptic has a little more punk influences to them. Convicted and money talks was awesome still got em on vinyl...

I agree with this 100% Another band i like to tell people to check out is Periphery. It's heavy and intricate but has vocals that people can "enjoy"

Thanks so much for the mediafire link, I'm loving the album!

I think you could have used a Peavy Bandit for that and no one would have known any different.

Don't mean to bring up an old thread but I was just listening to this again. My band broke up literally a few days after we released this. We never got the chance to play any of the songs at a show. Sucks man...

The style isn't my bag per se, nor is the overall mix, but there's definitely some good playing on your part here. Guitar tone is certainly fitting as well.

And congrats on getting the album done, I'm getting mine mastered now, so certainly know how much effort goes into it all :)

Thanks man! Hope yours turns out how you want it to.

Well you seem like a very talented guitarist. I'm sure you will start an awesome band that will take this a step further.
