Seeing as I`m too lazy to get into any other recording techniques I usually just record myself with an iPhone or iPad and it`s usually pretty hit or miss how the sound quality comes out , usually it`s pretty crapping but there are times when it sounds pretty darn good. Anyone have any tips or special recording devices/mics for the Apple products ?

I use iRig pro with an SM-57 into my iPad. Usually use GarageBand. Sounds surprisingly good! And as a bonus I use the iRig as an interface for bias and Ampkit+. Win win!
