Just saw the news that Anthony Esposito is replacing Greg Chaisson in RDC. Sounds like Something happened with Greg's "day job" and he had to bail. Hate to see all the changes but I'm very excited to see the new version of the band. I can't speak for the singer but Anthony is a great guy and I know he'll do a killer job with Jake. Not sure if dates are out yet, but I'll be at the Sellersville Pa show in April if anyone else is close. Would be cool to see and meet fellow rig talkers.

I remember reading in an interview when he came in that he was working at or owns some type of baseball training school. I'm assuming that's what he's talking about. He didn't say "day job" in the announcement but it was something along those lines

So Esposito will play for Jake but not Lynch in the Lynch Mob ???

He's been out of Lynch Mob for a long time. I'm sure if the situation was right he'd do Lynch Mob(and I'd kill to see that) but Lynch has rolled Lynch Mob for a long time, and it's usually just him and sometimes Oni from the original band. I'm thinking Lynch just rolls with who/what he can get and it seems to work for him.

Wow. Surprised because Greg hadn't been in long. And they just got a new singer too. Hopefully these lineup changes result in a better band.

I hope so too. Nothing against the guys that were in before but hoping the singer change was a step up(nothing against the first singer, I've only heard the cd(good) and seen some live clips(good and bad). As far as the bass situation, I have no doubt Anthony will hold it down and he's a great performer so IMO he's a great choice to fill that spot.

I'm just happy that Jake is back playing and touring. Child hood hero man. Saw him here in Houston around this time last year and he was great. Got him to sign my Jake replica Charvel and my Bark at the Moon album cover.

I guess he put his money on not making any with JEL.. :scared:

I'm guessing the job he's going back to is steady where touring prob isn't so much. And he's been off the road for awhile and maybe it didn't work for him. The venue they're playing in pa seems pretty big so I'm guessing there's some money to be made.

I saw Jake with Greg a few months ago. Loud as all hell. Greg only had one bass with him and his Hipshot drop tune fell off the thing right before the closer Bark at the Moon. He had to borrow the openers bass.

love anthony but am gutted greg has left ..... sadly I think the "end" is in near for RDC and jake will walk off into the sunset again

I hope not syth. I also hate to see Greg go, but hoping with the new singer and Anthony, they are committed long term and Jake will have something stable to work with. With the rocky start I'm sure Jake has thought about shutting it down, but with more dates and there are some out of country dates too I think this could be what gets things rolling along. I hope lol

Lynch Mob just announced they got Sean McNabb for bass a couple days ago. I know he was Dokken's bassist for a few years, and he even toured with Lynch back in '01 for a short while. Got to meet McNabb (and Jon Levin) at a Dokken show a few years ago. Very cool dude.
