Hey all, I wore my #1 guitar (silverburst axcess) down to the nubs and needed a refret. I always loved vintage frets, even for metal, but had a tendon injury that was making it harder to use them. I decided to take the plunge and move to some big ass stainless frets. I got the guitar back and I love it more than ever. It took a couple days to get used to it (since I am so used to how that guitar feels), but I finally am as fast on the upper frets as I was on the old fretless wonder. It's amazing how your mind has difficulty adapting to new spacing sometimes. I was fucking paranoid this would butcher the guitar but it turned out fantastic. I was considering doing this to my other LPs and mostly just wanted to see how many other people have done a larger fret on an LP and what their long term thoughts were on it. Thanks!
