I would really like to have castors on the bottom of my BE 4X12, It would be much easier for me to move around (at present using a dolly) but don't want to use the traditional type that require large holes to be drilled into the bottom of the cab as this may affect the integrity/tone.

I have just seen what I believe could be a solution. These castors on the Bogner website look to be removable with only 4 normal screws fixing the baseplate to the cab. This would mean that when removed the Cab can still sit on its 4 rubber feet, and so would be solid and also still stackable if needed.

thoughts please?

Yes those will work, I have them on my bogner 4x12.

However I much prefer the ones on my mesa cab, they are much easier to remove and put back on. The 3" wheels roll super smooth..

I'm just not sure how the mesa's mount, says there's a lag bolt so you probably have to drill the hole you don't want.

You have to do a little drilling. Completely worth it. I have these installed on my Friedman 4x12. Zero complaints.

I bought some from Splawn for my Avatar cabinet years ago. They still work great and were pretty cheap too. All metal and no plastic.
