My old intellifex is shitting the bed, and I need a new FX unit to use in the loop of my Quick Rod. I keep it pretty simple, Delay, reverb, and maybe chorus is all I really need, but other stuff might be Cool to have.

Which is the better sounding unit? Replifex, or G Major? Is the G Major II much of an improvement over either? Any other units I should be considering?

If you don't need the switching function, I recommend getting another Intellifex. The effects are noticeably better in the Intellifex than they are in the Replifex/Multivalve/Xpression.

G major 2 seems like the best bet rareguitar (brad) is selling one for 400$

You can get an Intellifex, Replifex, rackmount power supply, and a 4u rack for that price.

True! I have a sweet spot for TC stuff though, I prefer the sound over rocktron's fx.

Does the Intellifex have intelligent pitch shifting?

Nope. Only the Intellipitch does.

I don't need any switching, I just figured maybe some of the newer stuff might be upgraded and sound better.

I have not heard the gmajorII yet and over the past few years I have lost interest in the gmajor, lots of bank for the buck but I feel there ae cheaper solutions.

I vote another Intellifexs.
