Reverb advice: Lost package

Well, think about it this way - REVERB is the seller, not the guy that shipped the guitar. If you file a "My package is lost, I want my money back" claim, PayPal goes after Reverb. If you want Reverb to get on the stick, that'll do it - Trust me. It won't be 3-4 days, you'll get an email that same day you filed the claim.

But, give it time. I'd atleast give it another week. If nobody's got answers, play the PayPal card. Reverb doesn't want to have PayPal breathing down their neck.
Dammit. I like that mindset. I wish the gun world worked that way. Not even the BATFE wants to get involved when a claim is made. Can of spice worms

PayPal is known to side with buyers, and Reverb doesn't want to deal with it. I've had to do it, and never saw Reverb move so fast. I had my money back the same day I filed the claim. Reverb is great, but they're way too fucking slow. PayPal gets some pep in their step.

I've found Reverb much quicker than PayPal.
PayPal takes forever.

Update: Guitar still hasn’t arrived. 14 days after the last tracking update (Reverb policy) the seller told Customer Service the package was lost. That was last Thursday. I still haven’t heard anything from Reverb. Figured they would’ve given a refund by now. i’ll contact them tomorrow, but I’m ready to file a dispute with PayPal now.

Yep, time to hit paypal.

Update: I kid you not, tired of Reverb dragging their feet, I placed a claim with PayPal today and Reverb went into my Reverb account and filed a refund request with the seller of the guitar for $600 (the total was $648).

WTH? Has anybody experienced that before?
