Yes. 3.5% I think. Much lower than ebay which is like 12% based of my last sale...

3.5 % is correct. But just know there are as many tire kickers and ball busters there as anyplace else. Still, much better fees than evilbay

Ends up being 6-6.5% total once PayPal gets their cut. Even if your buyer uses Reverb's direct checkout they take a couple more percent on top of their standard 3.5%. All in all still much better than eBay.

Yes, you end paying about 6%. Still better than Ebay but there's less traffic on reverb and prepare for low ball offers that border on insulting.

I much prefer Reverb my last few sales. You need a little patience with reverb, if a quick sell is your goal, might not be the place. But the format on reverb is great too.

look forward to responses like
Swallow my cum....

Thanks all! I'm sure it will be a better alternative to Craigslist lowballs (And not paying those Ebay fees)

How do you guys get lowballers on Reverb. I usually sell at a fixed price with no offers.

I've had really good luck selling on Reverb. The last probably 6 out of 8 items I've sold have been on Reverb. There are lowballers, but I don't even respond to them. Let them wonder for 24 hours until their offer expires whether or not I'm going to accept. Fuck 'em.

I just set it to auto-decline offers for less than 50%. Haven't had too many lowball offers though.

I listed a guitar for $1800 and some jamoke offers me $1000. It's like really dude?

That's how things have gone for me over on Reverb as well. I had a AVRI strat up on there for $1000 a little while back, and I can't tell you how many people were sending me offers in the ball park of $400-300. Like get real guys. I found it particularly entertaining when they'd get offended upon receiving a counter offer, then act as though they've been overly generous with their initial offer... Such a strange group of buyers on that site.

I've had a lot of luck with Reverb but like someone mentioned things don't move very fast. I think the total fees are 5.6% if you use the reverb checkout too.

I did end up selling it for my asking price though so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

I had a guy lowball me , saying he couldn't do any better. I declined and wished him well. He sent me a message today and told me he got a slightly newer version for $200 more than "the best he could do" for mine. My taint, dude. Lick it.

Yeah, why email u to rub that in? Fuckin choad. I think yours is a fair price.

I've had good experience on reverb. I think it gets a lot more traffic Than any of the forums. I certainly have had my share of lowballers but that also comes with more sales, for me, this year via reverb than on forums. I find it half way annoying and half way funny when I get crazy low ball offers. As much as I like to be a smart ass I try to be nice and give a 5% off counter, I have had luck in turning low ballers into buyers with this approach.
