Nice.

Took me about 15 tries to take one that was clear and in focus.

Nice shot! The pic I used wasn't my pic, just pulled one off the interweb...I think I like yours better!

i work for a buddies automotive performance shop. we specialize in mustangs, and ford lightnings, but things have been slow enough lately that we are even doing normal routine maintenance work for whatever shows up.

I'm a 2nd year college student (High school senior)

I work for my dad's business as a transcription typist, I also teach a bit of guitar to kids but that hasn't made me much money at all and today I'm going to ask for a job at a pub/bar who advertised Christmas jobs.

I'm an evil scientist (chemistry) working in the (even more evil) pharmaceutical industry, and after years & years in sales and marketing now as a scientist in business development.
Neurological products. Focus are orphan drugs (rare diseases) like Huntington's D., Myasthenia Gravis, Movement Disorders in general - and what is left and right of that . . .

I was an active duty Marine for 11 years until my shattered knee forced me out. I have worked as a Network engineer for the last 10 years or so. I would give almost anything to go back to being in the USMC rather than deal with people in the network industry..LOL I made 75% less money, but loved every minute of it.

Here is a shot I took out the back of a helo...I was on the second ship back in the middle.

Up until two years ago I was a corporate marketing exec for a Berkshire Hathaway company. Decided to change gears and work in the public sector...I now manage an energy consultation program aimed at municipal and non-profit clients.

fulltime - Desktop support tech for the State.
parttime - Guitar tech

We should all quit our jobs and start a new company. So far Rig-talkers have pretty much everything covered.

I am a musician and work in the video games industry.

I didn't know playing video games counts as being in the industry?  That would be a dream job!

Paralegal and advocate here, mostly freelance and lately focused on elderly abuse. Play the stock market as a profitable hobby(I was lucky) and am majority owner in a couple of small businesses. Still play gigs, mostly the odd weekend in small clubs and for the last while exclusively solo; not into the politics that a full band can bring

I'm the Director of Engineering services for a Hospital system. Part time I own and operate a small recording studio.

Well Yeah, if your in the union or working for the state things are great

you in Columbus by any chance ? - its the only place in ohio not as hard hit by the economy (& columbus gets the lions share of federal grant every year - go figure !)

when I look around at the people I know and think back to 2002 all were employed and now more than half of them are unemployed or under_employed

so I can totally relate to joolzriff's post

Neither union or state. Just run a body shop 30 min south of Columbus. I'll have my best year since 2001, this year. Weird, our customer pay work has doubled in the past couple of years so somebody around here is making some money.

When did I say I just played games? I am a freelance beta tester and I write reviews (freelance, currently). The last game I beta tested was Call of Duty: Black Ops for Treyarch. I have tested all of their CoD games, starting with Big Red One.

I also used to make a good amount of money in MLG playing Halo 2, and at SFII tournaments.
