He was a friend of mine when I first moved to LA in '86 and the reason I started singing. I saw Warrant at Gazzarri's in '86 and he was incredible.

Wow this really sucks. Warrant is one of my favorite bands and he was one of my favorite singers. Definitely gonna miss him.

He said he would never forgive himself for giving into record company pressure and writing cherry pie and allowing them to name the album cherry pie.
He never wanted to go in that cheesy direction but gave into pressure and it fucked him up.

I was at Warrant's signing party, and their first release party; they were a HUGE force in LA back then, and it's hard for me to imagine a more tragic end for a guy who was so positive. What a horrible fucking waste. Really. It just makes me sick.
