I bought this unit new back in 2012, and have used it sporadically to power just about every rack mounted preamp you can think of.
Strong, solid state power, I've always been amazed by how good this low profile power amp sounds.
This is the one to have in your arsenal when you need rack power, but you lack back power.
These are getting harder and harder to find these days, and this one is very clean and serene!
