I let my bassist play my OG Whetstone phaser and he loved it. The noise floor on the first gen is terrible though. I can't wait to have a version of that pedal with better components. This is my favorite phaser, by a longshot.

just like the Whetstone this has a internal trim pot that lets you adjust the overall output of the circuit

basically what it is ... is a ZVEX SHO at the end of the circuit that lets you juice the output .... the way it is with the trim pot set half way you don't hit unity gain till around 3 oclock on the level knob .... so feel free to experiment

Should name after Al Bundy's favorite mag.

As far as @SgtThump can remember the official date is 06/25 ......... makes Rig Talk 20 years old !!!

after collaborating with the forumites that threw me some input ...... we settled on a modified Blackout Effectors Whetstone Phaser for a commemorative pedal honoring the 20 year mark .

the Whetstone itself is a highly modified Small Stone ..... so why not mod it a little more ....

I took out a few things I found were a bit useless and tried to concentrate on the cool stuff .... the phaser has two separate Range controls and Rate controls that are foot switchable allowing you to have two very different Phaser sounds at your feet .

Can do Vibrato stuff ... rig modulation tones .... and maple syrup thick phasing

more bells and whistles than a Shriner's Parade with the seven @VonBonfire approved toggle switches letting you really dial in some cool sounds

Order Window is now open .......... they are 200.00 each shipped ........ DM me for payment details and any other info

I pre made a handful .... and they are already gone ( I might have one left ) so moving forward they will have to ordered .... with roughly a four week wait till I ship ( all depends on enclosure fabrication time )

as usual I will give one or two pedals away to any buyers ....... so if you find an extra pedal in your shipment ... you know why !!

please see OP for pics of the finished pedal

I'm gonna be the first to say....this is a heckuva deal!

Damn! I missed the launch 🙁 I’m slackin… looks amazing!!! sending dm now 🏃‍♂️ 💨
The first ones are just starting to land. I've only played it for 10 minutes so far. It's worth it though. I loved my Blackout Effectors Whetstone phaser, and this one is all that and more, with none of the drawbacks. The rate switch is kinda sweet, because now it's like I have two phasers in one pedal.

Plus it has more mini toggelz than the whetstone. Uncle Waynzo delivers again.
