So I'm usually pretty whatever on Satch, but this is cool. I mean nobody is going to match Ed's playing when it comes to Ed's music, nobody can swing like he could, but Satriani's playing is good and the tone is really good here.

He's using those new 3rd Power amps. He was also using them when I saw him in April on the Satch/Vai tour, and they do sound very very good.

It’s chunkier than the tone he’s most associated with.
