Was just thinking about this yesterday.
I am completely happy and satisfied with my rig top to bottom.
In want or need of nothing.
Good amp, Good cabs, good guitar, pedals.....I am set.
Its a SUREAL feeling!
I am sure you guys know my past history with gear......so this is a good thing for me.
Trust me....it was not a easy road.

Post on what you need to add or get rid of in your rig.

Rock on.............

Dan

Completely utterly satisfied with what I have.
I'd like to do the the following:
1) at some point buy HSS strat of some kind
2) at some point buy an Edwards Goldtop in a Nitro finish
3) Maybe build the wet side to a wet/dry rig
4) Figure out what to do with my pedals... Organize my pedalboard? Rack everything?
5) Get a matching cab for the SD80...

Well... I'd have to say yes and no.

Amps - My 5150 II I love but I do plan on buying a used Laney or something for great cleans and low gain stuff cause the 5150 could be better on the clean side, I still love it.
Cab - Marshall 1936... well, it could be better but I can't say I'm not satisfied with it. :)
Pedals - I'd like a better wah and power supply but overall I'm really satisfied with my pedals, I'm not gassing to improve it
Guitar - LTD Mh 400, it's great for me and I love it but I do plan on getting rif of the LFR and EMGs.
GAS list for guitars - ESP Eclipse/LTD EX 401fm (The LTD first) Jackson soloist, Fender HSS fatstrat, PRS Toreo/SE custom trem.

Honestly, Rig-talk... it's where all my savings go, and my rig... yeah I've gigged with it.. been told by people in the crowd my tone is great...I think it sounds good. I'm really really happy with my rig. :)

I'm completely happy with my amp.
Have been for nearly 3 years now and I don't see that ever changing.
I'm completely happy with two of my guitars and the pickups I have installed in them.
I'm also completely happy with most of the pedals on my board.

However, there's some things I still need to do:

1. Get my PGM301 back from the tech and try it out with the newly installed Suhr Aldrich pickups.

2. Get some BG pickups for my PRS SE Korina.

3. Change the single-coils in my Edwards Snapper.
(I haven't decided what's going to replace the stock singles as yet)

4. Sell a guitar to fund either another PRS SE or maybe the PRS Mike Akerfeldt SE and then get some Motor City Pickups for it.

5. Get my Neunaber Wet Reverb pedal and do a head-to-head up against my Tech 21 Boost RVB and Hermida Reverb.
(I'm trying to make space on my board for another pedal or two :D )

Satisfied? Yeah, but that doesn't stop the GAS! :aww:

I have 6 guitars, but have had major Tele gas for awhile now.

As for pedals, I have a few mainstays on my board, but I'm always swapping fuzzes in and out of the gigging board.

Amp and Cab-wise I'm pretty set with my JMP 2203 and Verellen 4x12

This.

I'm pretty happy with the gear I've got but I would like to do a pickup switch in my Ibbie and add a couple of pedals to my board just for variety. I am gassing for a yellow RG and an ESP LTD EC256 in vintage black.

Beyond satisfied, and waiting for the economy to turn around so I can unload some stuff :D

Yes I am.

My Legacy and Jems have served me very well for may years now and I don't see myself wanting a new setup anytime soon.

I'm an advocate of the 'if it ain't broke, don't fuck with it' school of thought.

Sure there's always gonna be something better out there so it's never gonna end if I go down that road.

I have everything I need.... just not everything I want!

The funny thing is that the tones I'm most drawn to aren't anything I'd use in my current band.

So true! Got everything I need and I'm happy with my rig and GAS has subsided for awhile but I so want a Diezel Herbert halfstack.

im very happy with my guitars and amps, i dont own anything im unhappy with.
i will admit i wished i bought a fortin or freidman modded marshall instead of the quickrod i just bought, i still like the qr but i should have waited and got one of the other 2 amps i mentioned because i still wanna try them and im sure at some point i will do it.

theres still 5 or 6 more guitars i wanna buy too.

i know i dont need more than 1 guitar and 1 amp to be happy and thats whats cool about owning the gear i have, i can already have that 1 guitar and 1 amp and the rest is just icing on the cake :D

Yeah Im satisfied with what I have....I just want different speakers to try in my 2x12, and a Strat....and maybe a Delay pedal.
Other than that...Im cool!

I love all of my gear (that is, after all, why I still own it), and I've got a few amps that are truly keepers, but that doesn't mean that I don't like to change it up every now and again.

Well I have a 4x12 on the way, so after I get that the only things I feel like I will "need" to get are:

Locking tuners for the strat and schecter
Strap locks for all 3 guitars
a pedalboard to organize my pedals on

Other than those little non-sound related things, I am satisfied with my rig

now that i got my mark iv mounted in a headshell my rig is almost complete, i have a 400 watt avatar cab, my mark iv, a delay, a phaser and my favorite guitars. all i want to do now is get a les paul and make all of my channel switching and effects midi so i can run one board.
