Saw Brad Paisley Last Night

The wife and I went to see Brad Paisley at the Hollywood Bowl last night. He and the band were great. He played about 5 different tele's and a strat twice. It wasn't all twang, he played some blues and rocked out a few times. I was surprised to hear him use a wah a couple of times.

The country acts of today are hardly country. The guitarists they hire are dynamite! The wife and I saw Jason Aldean and his two guitarists came out and played flying Vs with a bridge only pick ups with floyd roses on them...and boy did they know how to use them!

Nashville tries to sell records. They'll push whatever sells. Same as any other genre. The main reason why the music industry is bleeding to death.

Today's country music is a pop version of the former. It bears little resemblance to what most of us think or refer to as country music.
