My mother sent this an hour or so ago to all the people in her email list 
Hello Family and Friends,
Anna Romero is very sad to report the death of her mother, Maria Pacheco Gonzalez, who died on July 7th, 2008, in San Juan, Puerto Rico after a long battle with coronary arterial disease that resulted in both legs having amputated (at different times). She was 74 years old and a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother/great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Gonzalez Lago at Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico on July 10th, followed by cremation services at Bayamon, Puerto Rico on July 11th.
Thank you in advanced for your prayers and thoughtfulness. In lieu of floral tributes or fruit baskets, the family appreciates your donations to the American Heart association on her behalf.

I am glad my mom was there taking care of her mom when it happened, otherwise she'd regret for the rest of her life. I am also glad that my grandma go to see her great grandson last year. Alas, it didn't come to pass that she'd see him again this year. I was planning on going with him the 3rd week of July. Any and all prayers appreciated. Rough, rough time for my mom right now
