Still in search of a new guitar and this guitar keeps coming to mind.

Anyone here played one? Can I get some reviews perhaps?

I am also very interested in this guitar!! I want one!!

I am kind of wondering what would be of better quality, this or say an EC1000. I have reservations on ever buying another schecter after I had one of their guitars show up a complete mess and then have their customer service basically tell me there was nothing they could do about it. But this guitar is just so damn tasty looking.

LTD and Schecter are both manufactured in the same factory in South Korea so quality should be comparable. I have a couple Schecters and an LTD and the quality is great on all of them. If you are buying new, then buy from a dealer that will take care of any issues there could be once you get the guitar. If you're buying new there is really no reason you should have to deal with the manufacturer directly if something arrived in less than perfect shape.

I have one...Bought it new from Sweetwater. Because I tuned it to Drop B, I did go through like 5 string gauges to decide on which one would work to my liking. I did have to do a complete setup after that too. Truss adjustment, etc cuz it came tuned to Eb standard I think? Anyway....when i first got it, I was kinda not sure about how thin the neck was....I am used to Peavey HP Specials. I do have a kick ass 2001 Ibanez mahogany RG with a thicker Prestige neck. But I got used to it quickly. I like the guitar a lot. The Black Winter pickups cut. I was looking at the 7 string KM-7 and the JL-7, but played the JL-7 at GC one day and did't care for it....so I'm a little unsure if I will ever own a 7 or not. Anyhow, hope this helps...

I owned it, it was nice, Schecter is one of those things to me where you have a bunch of dead one and 2/3 good to great ones in a batch. Only stipulation for me. I had a decent one, glow in the dark side dots worked nice, didn't care for the blackened black winter... Very fuzzy and I tried like hell to get them to not be with height setting blah blah, I eventually switched them out. Good frets which are stainless... It was a nice guitar! Really was and worth the tag.

I will be swapping the pups out with a SD custom 5 SH14 and a sentient regardless. Gonna order this guitar on the weekend I think.
