So everytime I've heard the demos they sound pretty dern good (post processing maybe?) but I've heard some of the weird stories about Blades stuff, alot of it right here on RT. Good product or shitbox?

They are a Cameron Jose or Aldrich clone, depending on the model. Sound good, resale is shit...you can get them for a grand or less used. Toss the ridiculous headshell, spend 250 on a mojotone box and throw the chassis in there.
I've been offered a Blades twice for guitars that I had for sale for 800.

Oh, and never tell anyone that it's really a BLADEZZZ.......

I played one a couple of years ago that was at a local music store. From what I remember, it sounded pretty good. No joke. I would have bought it but they were asking crazy money for it and it looked god awful.

Maleman special ordered the rainbow flag tolex on all of his Blades. He also had Billy Blades install the custom Glory Hole with a picture of Richard Simmon's mouth painted around the hole.

I recommend that you insist on a gutshot of the amp and then decide if the skill level quality control regarding the assembling of the amp is worth the pricepoint being asked. Do your own research... as many have said, with the reputation preceding his amps you may have trouble selling if you do buy it. I have listened to some of the clips and don't think they sound bad at all, but I have seen gutshots of his production amps and I would not own one at any price, but that is only my opinion... your experience might be different.

There are many other great builders out there with impeccable building skills and quality control.

I still have never seen a gunshot of a recent amp. They sound amazing I the videos. Everyone shits on Billy from that one hideous fire hazard he made 15 years ago. Would like to see something recent.

Absolutely over priced new but $1,200 used why not? I've heard worse for more $$
