Yup... I use an OD808. I love it. Just a tad of saturation and it's still very clear.

I usually use the lower gain settings and OD1, then use the OD808 with the Level at 100%, drive at 10:00 and the tone at 10:00. Really dig it.

Yeah it's the best of the 3 boosts I've used. I'd like to try the OCD as well. The SD-1 was too trebley. The BB sounded odd to me. But yeah...

lol. I wasn't a fan of the OD808 - plus I don't like non-true-bypass pedals in front of my amps. I did like the OD9. I love that BB. Though, I tend not to do the traditional volume at max/gain at mininmum when I boost. I tend to put the gain around 9:00 and the volume around noon. Though, as I said with the the Nitro, it is off more than on. Actually, I really only use the boost sparingly these days. Even with my current Rev. Blue Uberschall, which happens to be tight enough without the boost - unlike some other Ubers I've owned.

I had an OD 9 for a little and didn't dig it..

then again this is all academic being that I never boost my Splawn....the blackstar sometimes, but never the QR

I have yet to play one that I could even say meh about, couldnt stand the tone or the feel. HOWEVER, far be it from me to say that they suck, especially when there are plenty of people who like them. Play whatever the hell works for ya and thats all there is to it
