With this post I'm done responding to you because you're reading comprehension and/or logical reasoning seems to be on a different plane from me. Your post: bagging me for making a bad choice, makes no sense whatsoever because I'm happy with how the amp is performing exactly the way I'm using it. I'm happy with it, and others in my situation may be too (gasp, people can have a different opinion from you). Bye.
Easy fella

No one is "bagging on you"--as for my "reading comprehension", I simply asked why anyone that didn't play out would want to own a JCM800. I got several replies pretty much stating "because it's cool". And THAT is cool. I also put a big fat "IMO" in front of MY opinion that a JCM800 is not the best option for a home only player. On a thread where a guy is asking for opinions on the amp. If that bothers you...well...bye.
The JCM800 is a really cool looking iconic amp that has a mediocre master volume, no effects loop (or no decent effects loop if you consider the 2210), not enough gain for most modern rock and sounds best at high volume. If I was looking into these amps I would want to know these things, not just how great they are.
