I have finally found a guitar speaker that is as close to perfect as I have ever heard. The Scumback M75 65 Watter absolutely nails the midrange I have always wanted, the bottom end is perfectly focused and tight, and the highs are very clear/rounded. This speaker is off the charts with every amp. Anyone interested in improving their tone should check these out asap.....especially given the fact that 50% of your tone comes from the speaker....

Many thanks to you Jim!

cool! ...........always wanted to "a/b" a 4x12 cab loaded with these scumbacks vs traditional g12 greenback 25-watters.

I couldn't agree more! The K100 and M75 are my two favorite speakers.

Here's a link to a recent thread I started over on the Egnater forum.

I have to say I like the 65-watters better. They break up better for me...Definitely a much better greenback that's influenced by "modern technology"... Definitely one of the best speakers I've played to date. Again..the K100 and M75 are my two "island speakers" for sure. I could do ANYTHING with those two that's for damn sure.

They even sound great mixed together ;)

I recently played a Southbay cab with the M75-65 speakers in it and it sounded awesome. Very smooth top end but still crunchy. The Bottom was tight, too. Mids were present but not honky. They are expensive though!

I still love my Weber 1225's dearly.....but these M75's just blow me away!

Ted Weber RIP certainly made some of the best speakers in the world (Weber builds the Scumbacks per Jim's specs as well as his own models)
