SD Black Winter-Who's tried them?

Thinking of trying these out. How are they?

I have never played them but have sold lots of them and people are digging them. Killertone has them in his Les Paul in this clip:

I just bought one from a member here, looking forward to seeing what it can do as well. I have heard a lot of great things about them. The Nazgu's and Pegasus pickups didn't do a lot for me though, I am hoping it differs from those.

I have a set in my BC Rich KKV and I love them very grimy and distorted, but at the same time they clean up very well, even the bridge. Far more versatile than their name implies.

Never tried the pickups. Just had to comment on the fact that killertone's video just flat out rocked!

I want to try them mostly because they have less treble and more mids then 90% of their other pups, according to their eq chart. . .
