What gear have you sold and still can't get over it?

I have my JCM800 listed on Craigslist and I'm not too terribly attached. But I could be wrong about my feelings towards it. Anybody have any stories of a similar situation?

CCV, had to sell it to pay bills, it was a bummer, but the guy I sold it to appreciated it and if he decides to sell it, he will come back to me with it first. I miss it quite a bit, great amp. Bogner 20th XTC, great amp. Cameron Aldrich 50 watt, it sounded and played killer! CHarvel Custom, amazing guitar, a killer Nuno N4, and more. I had to sell a lot of stuff off for medical bills. If I didn't have to pay those bills, I never would have sold the stuff.

Moog Prodigy - sold in the late 90s to cover bills. I tried a few other synths but nothing sounded as good to me. Last year I ended the torment by getting myself a Moog Little Phatty (great synth, terrible name). The Prodigy was cool but if I could only have one it would be LP.

Sometimes I have missed gear and repurchased. Unfortunately I tend to sell them again later for the same reason. These days I avoid repurchasing any make/models I have previously owned.

Marshall JCM 800 2210
Voodoo Amps V-Rock Dual Lead

Mesa mkIII red stripe. Sold it when i had a few heads sittin around.. Thing was a screamer!

The 2 Marshalls I personally had modded by Jose Arredondo in '83 and '84
A 2001 Gibson Custom Shop Historic R8 I traded for a Charvel Pointy with a Kahler before Charvel opened the Custom Shop and they we're hard to get...

Anything else I sold, I'm fine with. Those sales were travesties of the highest order.

Picked up a used ibanez back in 1993. Can't remember what the headstock said but I seem to recall American master or American custom. Had a stone finish and a couple holes where it looked like someone prob had a synth pickup. I'm 99.9% sure it was made for an artist. Was the most amazing guitar I've ever played. And ranks high still. Ended up trading it for something I can't even remember. STUPID!!!!!

Wiiner winner chicken @##$& dinner. Im almost  for you.

For me it was a KL Explorer.

Hmm. Nothing too major, an original fulltone '69 I sold for no real reason but wasn't getting used a lot, was great though. A mesa heartbreaker 2X12 combo that was great for some things but not what I needed when only had one amp. I'm probably going to off a couple charvels as they're just not getting used a lot. But of course I pulled them out and played them and thought these are real nice, lol.

Kramer Nightswan in Candy Red. It was a parts mutt, but had some real mojo. I still have a couple, but I should have kept that one too!

A Kalamazoo Epiphone Sheraton . My dad gave that to me and I sold it to fund a USA Jackson. I was young and not thinking about sentimental value of things like I do now. Plus it absolutely sounded amazing... Stupid stupid stupid

I regret selling my lightning Nightswan many years ago.

The thing I struggle with is letting go of stuff. I have a SLO and a Fender CS strat that I really don't use at all, but I just can't sell them. I know I could really use the money to buy some killer new stuff, but I just keep thinking "what if I need them someday?"

It's a sickness.

A 1969 Marshall Super Lead 100 that I bought from Emil Werstler back when he was going to AIM. I paid less than $1,000. for it and it was a great sounding head.

1988 Showcase Edition Les Paul Custom Lite goldtop with mega scratches on the top from previous owners ex gf. She took a screwdriver to it after they broke up so I got it cheap as he just wanted it out of there. Traded it for a Jackson dragon dinky that I found out later was a parts mutt. Stupid, stupid, stupid. One of my buddies still rubs my nose in it for that one.
