Sounds great man. How do you like the eleven rack? I mean, does it really have the feel of a tube amp as they advertise or is that just marketing may I ask?
Thanks so much

Just listened to some more of your clips. Great stuff man! Very cool. Love it.. Love the blues like style, or something. Hard to explain, but love your writing and the tone man. Keep it up.. Great stuff.. Regards
T

I'm impressed, much much better than some of the Eleven Rack samples ive heard on YT.

Great playing too.

Better than most of the 11 rack clips I've heard, nice work!

Glad you liked the clip. :)

It's very touch sensitive. With lower gain models I can easily roll back the volume and have the tone clean up just like a real amp. Most of the time I forget I'm playing a modeler... :)

Most of the videos on YT are single guitars. It's always hard to tell what it'll sound like in a mix. That said, the unit is really cool and is fully capable of getting great tones.

If you don't mind me asking, what amps are you simulating with the 11r and what guitars are you using with what pickups, etc?
Thanks man.. Good stuff, great tone and picking! :-)

FUCK YEAH!!!!

That was great. Makes me wish I'd have experimented more with the 11R before getting rid of it.

The rhythm guitars are Dual Recto Vintage Channel. I used Redwirez Mesa Oversized V30 cab impulses.
Lead guitar is Bogner XTC Red Channel also with Redwirez Mesa Oversized V30 cab impulses.

The guitar is an Ibanez Universe modified to run EMG707 and EMG81-7.

I like this thing. Maybe one day I'll get a Kemper or something, but the convenience of the 11R as an interface/modeler is hard to beat.

Snip..

Yeah it's a great guitar. I really like the EMG's in there. I futzed around with a bunch of passives, but they just didn't work in that guitar too well for whatever reason...

I think EMG's sound good anyway, but especially in basswood or mahogany or any guitar that's blury sounding or a little muddy to me, and it just brings out the harmonics, punch, sustain, etc,.. So do the duncans to me also, but I like the tone of the EMG's in my experience a lot better. I'm considering them for my charvel which has a hum in the bridge and a single coil slanted in the neck!
