It never sounded so good. Shea said he has some more clips to post soon. Glad you dogs like it?

'71 100w Langner Superlead...Cameron tweaked, Cameron approved, Monomyth enriched.

Hahaha yeah I was going to do something like that, uranium enriched maybe?! The amp is so unique and now that it has gone nuclear we're lucky to have survived hearing it. See what you've done Shea you nearly destroyed the planet. I hope you're happy now.

I heard amps that sounded like that in the early 80`s. They were called Mesa Boogie

My C+ Coliseum, as great as it is, sounds nothing like that.

Killer machine gentlemen!

just saying original modded amp back in the day. Camerons sound more boogie than marshall.

For sale?
I don't see myself ever selling it after all the exceptional talent that's been inside it. Seeing where it sits now after Shea, it's absolutely epic, thank you for your genius :rawk:
i'm curious. After everyone who has been inside that what made you say hey, this needs a Monomyth mod? Was it lacking something or just wanted to see if it "could" get better? It sounds great and I have 2 of Shea's modded amps so I hope this doesnt come across as me trying to stir up shit or whatever..LOL Nowadays it seems ya always have to put that disclaimer in there... I just really am curious!

Shea said it best when he posted. This amp was originally modded by Todd Langner, it collected voicings and additions from Dave, Mark and Myself all built on top of each other. The idea for me was to keep all the best aspects of the amp without changing the foundation that started with Langner. The amp was broken for years and Mark helped bring so much back to the amp, he is pure genius, so knowledgeable and talented. I wanted some small changes, values, not much but I wasn't able to reach him and sent it to Shea for the same reason I reached out to Mark, pure talent that cannot be denied.

You should document all the mods made to the amp. I'd buy a schematic in a heartbeat!

Thanks for posting that clip. It sounds amazing.

Sounds killer
I hear more Langner in that tone than the others mentioned, must have kept most of Todds original circuit? Maybe we just heard 1 of the possible voicing?
Its got that Langner "it will explode if we push it any harder" thing going on with that beautiful "compressed in a good way" tone.
Very nice Shea
As good as it sounds for rhythm in that clip, I bet its amazing for lead work

The foundation is all Langner, the work that Cameron did was extremely thought out and very cool also, some ideas I’ve never seen in his other work, the amp was pretty compressed and choked out sounding when I got it so I changed about 5-6 parts and brought it back to a more Marshall vibe. Thanks

That really is pretty awesome. I absolutely agree that Shea is just as talented as the aforementioned guys. Also the one thing that all these guys have in common is a great ear. I knew a local guy here that was trying to get into the amp world, and was a great electronics wiz. He couldnt break out though cause he only trusted what was on paper and had no ear. He moved on to military contracts but always wanted to make a name in the mod world.
That right there is Definitely an amp with some great history! Play the hell out of that thing!!!
