Haha that is never gonna happen is right. There is a lot going on to make this beast what it is but to ask for a schematic is asking a lot. The people who put their livelihood into sound design is theirs and how they make money. I feel it's not mine to give you dogs.

You should document all the mods made to the amp. I'd buy a schematic in a heartbeat!

Thanks for posting that clip. It sounds amazing.
Yeah, that’s not gonna happen.
But why not?
Because Mark’s contributions are all gooped.

Just my opinion but being a good player with a good ear will go further than a schematic. You need a certain amount of experience/knowledge but...well there are lots of great amp techs out there that can fix almost anything and really know their stuff but the lack of that ability/ear limits their ability to craft epic tone. YMMV.

Thats a good point. Shea can play and has a similar playing style that I do. He plays alot of modern metal riffing in his clips. So that makes his mods more appealing to me. There are some guys that build and mod amps that can barely play the guitar other than struming a couple chords, I always found that odd.

My experience dealing with amp techs is that they must have knowledge and great a ear. And every single great amp tech that mod, build or service amps that I've met has this.
Playing technics and style, not a must. It helps a lot, of course... but unless if it's impossible to get someone else to play the amps for him, the tech can go a long way without being a good player.
Mark Cameron is a phenomenal player, and he uses that to his advantage. But it's only because of his knowledge and great ear that he can do what he does.
On the other hand, Jose Arredondo and Frank Levi couldn't tell the difference between a D or an A chord, and they've crafted some of the most amazing tones to this date.
Again, being a shredder for sure helps the process, but it was never a must.
PS: My apologies for not mentioning before, congrats to all the ones involved with this amp, it does sound amazing!

Sounds great.

Seems less gritty than some of the other clips of your amps; is this because of the prior mods, or is it a different voicing of yours?

This mod is pretty different than my others, in this clip I had the gain set just past noon, it gets very saturated.

Definitely prefer this voicing.

Is it something you’re going to offer?

Maybe in the future I’ll offer something Langner inspired, his mods were really great and his legacy should be carried on.

Sounds fantastic. If you offered an amp for sale with this voicing, I'd buy it.

100% Shea, your work is always super impressive but this is just next level. Would love to get in line for something very similar to this

I'd jump in line for that type of mod. I have a 2204 modded by Cameron that sounds incredible and nothing has come remotely close to peaking my interest. But this amps tone is inspiring to say the least! Consider me on the list if you offer this mod!

This sounds great for sure as all your stuff does, but I don’t hear anything in that clip that I can’t get out my 2 Monomyth Black Sun modded Marshall’s, but maybe in person would be a different story. The only thing I hear is that maybe it’s a little smoother, but I like the gritty, nasty quality of mine, especially the JCM800 one

Actually, now that I listen again, I think I can hear the more vintage SLP character here, but seems to me like that’s because of the donor amp itself rather than the mod

Shea, is possible to mod a JCM 2205 or a 2210 and work on both channels and the loop?

Cheers!
