Didn't realize my buddy Greg had recorded any of me in the Friedman booth. The JJ is LEGIT! The BE-100 Deluxe is killer as well. Wish I had a chance to connect with Dave for an interview and full playthrough...
Thanks man! yeah this was a killer little amp. Lots of authority for such a small package.technomancer":2zyqz7ri said:Dave's amps always sound great. If I didn't already have the big one I would probably grab a JJ Jr. Nice playing as always![]()

Man I was actually really impressed with the guitar. The guy playing it before me was getting up to go and was like, "Here!" Felt really comfortable and played/sounded great.romanianreaper":16d94nal said:psychodave":16d94nal said:Now the secret is how to achieve that tone with a 20W head and a 1x12 cabinet.![]()
Definitely something for people to keep in mind. I definitely want to hear it thru a Friedman 2x12 when it hits the streets.
Hey JerEvil, how did you dig the Friedman guitar? I didn't get to play one at Sweetwater, just got to hold one and play around a bit with it unplugged. Felt great and looked killer.
Oh man thanks! I really appreciate that. It's a pleasure to do.Junk Yard Dog":3hmppmsl said:Sounds great, man! I've watched all your vids and you did a great job all in one day. I'm sure I speak for all saying 'thanks' for doing all that legwork and sharing thoughts and great clips.
What did you think of the BE DLX over the BE you have now in terms of sonic and tonal differences?

Thanks man. Having 2 teenagers, 3 dogs and all certainly means vids are not always convenient. Thankfully Mrs. Evil is pretty darn cool. This is definitely a passion of mine that only came about from Steve Henning liking some recordings I did and wanted clips when he released the Bottle Rocket. I was like, “clips schmlips! I’ll make a vid!” Now here we are. I’m no Pete Thorn or Ola. No ones throwing cash at me but I’ve met some cool people and hopefully Dunky’s will continue to grow.311splawndude":2djptwjr said:+1Junk Yard Dog":2djptwjr said:Sounds great, man! It takes a lot of work and effort to put it all together.
I didn’t. I asked Rob about them a while back but no news as of yet. I’m bugging him now to see about being an early demo’r of the JJ jr and/or BE-100 Deluxe!!! To be fair, let’s not forget each amp is run into a W/D/W set up.
Two SDE 3000’s on a 800 watt Matrix power amp for each side. One SDE is probably set at 500 ms and the other 250 ms. I’m not here to badmouth or talk shit, but through that set up anything will sound fucking enormous.
