I really had to split hairs to find an issue with the amp, but it didn't completely kick my ass, so I may go in a different direction. But it had extremely smooth gain and was articulate as shit.

I searched him on YT. I think that’s the guy in Austin trying to sell on CL. I see a KSR 212 in his video and that’s on CL too. He’s delusional...trying to sell for what they go for new. He bought that from Jason/Killertone. It’s been on CL for a long time. He’s semi-local to me and I would’ve been interested long ago if his price was realistic. Now I’ve lost interest since Dover is around.

I've never been so impressed from a video (JerEvils) that I bought one before any real demos were our.

I am going for a tight deathmetal amp, really. I have a soldano avenger. It has the perfect musical high gain sound, but more of a nod to classic rock. I can push it to metal range. But I am thinking of using both at the same time, for a loose/tight rather than a wet/dry.

arnold made a video saying that this was the amp for him and it was the greatest thing ever. Not even 6 months later its for sale. There is a lot of guys who are selling stuff for pretty much what they go for new. I think I even mentioned that this was the second one I saw for sale when Four6and2 had his for sale. He was basically acting like its the only one in the U.S. or some shit. I didnt care to point out the one listed here. Personally I always knock off 15% of what I paid at the least if I have used it at all. "rare" means fuck all as far as Im concerned. There are too many great amps out there to treat one like some rare unicorn.

Ah, sweet. I like that idea. Fill out the spectrum of sound. Have you thought about a used Wizard MTL, a Monomyth or maybe a custom Friedman? Or Maybe an Engl SE?

I am, and probably for no good reason, a single channel junky. So, I would have to get Jeff? to make me a custom one if I went the Wizard route. On that note, I like Engls quite a bit, but all the buttons and shit irritates me. I am not anti solid state, but I like simple tube amps, and all that circuitry to change things on the engls just makes me think they are going to break sometime and annoy me. If I wanted to push buttons and have that change something, I would get a solid state. Now Friedman I have considered. Don't know a lot about what is available from him. But I thought about asking him to mod a jcm for me.

I no longer have the one I had. Sold a while ago. Nice sounding amp but ultimately moved on due to boredom. I don't play in bands or record or anything. I prefer to build amps for my own enjoyment and occasionally try out new gear. For me, there is no such thing as the "end-all, be-all" amp. So I moved on. Any amps I buy are just out of curiosity at this point. I spend the majority of my free time doing other things.

I'm working on putting together and amp from a pcb I got from Headfirst amplification (Burger on the boards) anyway he recommended getting a chassis from Nik as he already had Nik make some for him specifically. Anyway I was talking to Nik about getting some components and we discussed the molecular. He made me an offer that was too tempting. Basically he gave me a deal and let me make 3 payments
