I didn’t say “stop being an asshole and bringing up my family” I didn’t say “if you talk about my family one more time I’m gonna punch you in the mouth.”
All I said was “don’t bring up my family”. It’s pretty simple.

I’ve said that I don’t think he meant any harm to them or even put them in a negative light. I just don’t like when people use them in arguments against me. Maybe I’m the only one that feels that way. It wouldn’t matter though because that’s I why I told him to stop doing it. I didn’t curse him out. I didn’t even put any blame on him outside of “you did something I don’t like and I don’t want you to do it again”. Even now I still think that’s the best way to go about it.

Sure I could have gone out of my way to make it Uber polite, but why would I to someone that calls me retarded in every other thread. Like you said, this ain’t that kind of forum. So I just said it directly. I’m not going to tip toe around some hothead who is looking for a reason to be pissed off at something

Okay, that's understandable. It sounds to me like Floyd just happened to be the recipient of something that had been percolating, and Floyd took it personally, which I also understand. I get that you guys are probably going to be at each other for a bit anyways, but if I understand correctly, you could emphasize that your request wasn't entirely directed towards him or anything he specifically did, but rather the issue came to a head in that moment. I agree, just 'cause you posted a pic or mentioned your kids it doesn't make it okay to bring them into a debate. Or at least you can make the request which would hopefully be honored, which I think Floyd already agreed to.
 
And since I like to play couples therapist, Floyd, maybe quit calling him a little bitch and letting him know you'd like to punch him in the mouth. That would probably help keep the peace :ROFLMAO:
