Here's my #1. It's a 2011 American Deluxe strat in Sunset Metallic. I put a Warmoth pickguard on it. It's got Lindy Fralin Blues Specials in the neck and middle, and a Dimarzio AT-1 in the bridge.

Y'all are making me miss my Strat. I had a beautiful American tobacco burst SSS with a maple fretboard. I loved the look and feel, but never the tone. Primary problem was the bridge pickup. One day I'm gonna buy an HSS one. I loved the neck and middle pups. I know I coulda changed out the bridge pup, but I was able to snag a sweet Taylor 414c in place of it. I'm still happy about the trade.

This should be finished soon! Mike lull sx...birdseye maple neck...warpigs!

My 2011 G&L Legacy w/ Bill Lawrence pups

fender custom shop 62 relic in candy tangerine.

fender custom shop hbs-1 relic, red sparkle

There's a point at which a Strat-style guitar has drifted far enough away from the original 54 specs to no longer be a Strat. A Strat with a humbucker at the bridge is still a Strat, but a sort-of-Strat-shaped guitar with humbuckers at bridge and neck, 24 frets, and a locking whammy is no longer a Strat IMO.

Cut from the same cloth! Did you add the humbucker too? Mine came with 3 single coils. I had mine refretted with jumbo 6100 stainless steel frets.

I bought mine used but the previous owner said it came from fender with the hum, i think it was a limited run they did, i pulled off the pickguard and it looks like he was correct.
I looked around and seen another one for sale, heres the link.

Btw i always loved your guitar even before i got mine.

There's just something about that candy tangerine.
Indeed there is. I'm trying to keep myself from buying the one in the link Les Zombie posted.
