If you notice, they have the tires under inflated.
But then again, I've never had a Shure mic go bad on me in 25+ years

Sm58, it sounds like crap, but will still work if you run over it with a bus...

Also doubles as a hammer.

Next video: drop a 58 off the Empire State Building.

They sound good enough for U2 who uses the SM58 to record Bono since the very beginning.

Doubt that is all he uses despite what shure or GC says, or if he does, its attached to a gazzillion dollar recording chain to help it out. I have never walked into a studio and have them throw up a 58 for first, second, or third choice vocal work. But if it works for him, cool. fine for the price and live work, but I don't care for the 57/58 line other then guitar work.

which is why i am just baffled by how our church youth group musicians managed to do this:

I could hear the crunching much more clearly of the 86, as it is a condenser :D

I don't care what they say or anyone says. You don't have to doubt it because I know with 100% certainty. He sings live in the studio control room with the monitors blasting singing into a 58.

Thats cool. Personally, I can't make that mic work for anything serious tracking, and I don't know anyone else who does either vocal wise or any studio I've been to/worked at, so I don't care if Bono uses it in the studio, I still wont use it ;)

the only thing i could imagine is someone using it as a lever like a crowbar to lift an extremely heavy object, or swinging it daltry style at full speed into the edge of a steel box corner.

but the grill wasn't damaged or dented so i am really just totally bewildered...did chuck norris think it was a carrot?
