I really liked the room miked clip of the last Laney PA you did, both the high gain as well as the clean sounds. Can't wait to hear some clips of the one you've been building here!

The Simms starting to be finished!

First clip:

More clips to come...

It is a monster of true epic proportions.

I love your work.

If I had unlimited funds I would buy two of them.

Sounds absolutely killer Henric  Would you mind posting up a description of the extra controls you designed for me?

Cheers!

New clip:

I have tweaked channel 2 since the last clip.

Some info about the amp:

Three channels,

Channel 1 - A clean channel that can handle clean crispy sounds to smooth jazz sounds. Gain, bass, middle, treble, volume and a 3-way bright-switch.

Channel 2 - A hot-rodded Marshallish channel. It has two gain-controls, after the first and the second gain-stage. If you turn down the second gain-control only the bass will roll off which makes it tighter so it's works like a preshape control. It has a switch that turns in an additional gain-stage (switches between 3 and 4 gain stages) and a three-way-saturation-switch (diode-clipping) that doesn't drop in volume. And of course bass, middle, treble and volume.

Channel 3 - The Metal channel. This channel has a "tight-control" that lets you stepless adjust the "tightness". It also has a preshape switch with normal, bright, tight, a gainshape-switch with normal, mid-boost (1600hz boost) and lowmid-boost (600hz boost), gain, bass, middle, treble and volume.

Tube buffered fx loop and the presence- and punchcontrols has a 3-way-switch for three different ranges. "Long tail pair" PI and ultralinear poweramp.

Henric these tweaks did it, THAT is the sound in my head  . Thanks for turning my tone ideals into such a unique and bad ass amp. This has been my best music gear experience by far.

Cheers!
