Simple Clean vs. Rear Clean Channel On Marsha

Looking at the Tone Merchants website, it looks like there are two options for a clean channel on the Marsha, simple clean and clean channel on the back of the amp. Can anyone describe the differences between the two clean channels? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm also curious about the extra gain and MV option. Any insight into this option would also be appreciated. I thought the amp can stock with a MV. Am I wrong? Just curious what this option is all about. Thanks.
 
Hands down , w/out a shadow of a doubt...the full clean channel on back by Dave Friedman is ONE OF THE BEST. I'm just going to leave it at that. Roland Jazz SC120 , who??
 
I run an eq through the loop with my Simple Clean and it sounds incredible.
 
The clean on the rear has trebble and bass controls, the simple clean does not. The extra master is a swichable volume and gain control so you can set the preamp and volume for two independant levels.

I have the clean on the back...very nice but not a lush, pristine "Fendery" clean by any means. It's a bit more forceful and focused, much like an old Marshall but with a bit more spank to it. It reminds me a bit of my old Fender Tonemaster's clean channel. For recording, I'll most likely use my Chieftain for cleans and the Marsha for everything else.
 
Dave told me the full clean is a Fender clean circuit, and I think I remember reading a post where he mentioned the simple clean was like a Vox normal channel but brighter.

As mentioned before the full clean has it's own EQ and the simple clean is just a volume knob, no EQ at all. (The presence knob will effect it though.)

I have the simple clean on my JMP and I really like it. Don't think of it as just an afterthought because it's so basic, it sounds great and is more versatile than you would expect. It's set up just right so that it works in just about any situation without needing EQ. That being said, I'm sure the full clean is even better.
 
Full clean is the standard fender preamp. Simple clean is like a vox normal channel w a bright cap.

I was playing my APC mod today and was wondering if the APC/Naked clean is based off of any particular circuit? Whatever the hell it is it sounds great.

Does Naked clean lean more towards Fender or Vox? Or is it completely different?
 
Quick question, does the full clean option package include extra gain and master volume knobs or just the EQ controls?
 
Full clean is vol/treb and bass. And we are not offering it anymore.
 
Not offering ___ Do I smell a new production amp in the works?

I love the simple clean on mine too. It is pretty awesome man! I was stunned at how clean you can get it with volume rolls/pickup combo.
