Well, its way more 3-D sounding and so many more tone shaping options, the blackmore sounds good but is just much more limited, I feel like I can do more with the gain channel on this. The savage is more like a blackmore on steroids, trust me man when I first got the blackmore I didnt think it could get any better, boy was I wrong and sorry I didnt buy this in the first place. The savage lowend is much bigger also due to the kt88's and the depth boost switch me thinks, it also has a lead boost which is cool. Trust me dude, go for the savage, you wont be disappointed, and you should also get a 4x12 to get the full effect of the amp, it's beastly and hands down the best amp I have played so far. Powerchords make me want to cream my pants!
