Cool! Lemme know what you think...

I think this might be my favorite profile so far. Thanks. It has a nice unique bark to it. I think it's brighter than Pete's EVH profiles, which is good. But, there's a slight harshness to it. I saw a picture a few days ago I think is yours with a little cab in a tile alcove. If so, I think it may be too reflective in there. Maybe the old blanket over the top trick would help. Or put it out in the middle of a big room.

I did about an hour of tweaking. I liked your pedal choices. It was a different route from what I usually do.

Glad you like it! I dig the nature of the distortion, personally, but then again I designed and brought the actual amp to market. ;)

I also recognize others might hear it differently... Of course, it was dialed in and profiled with my specific guitars as well and I'm finding that very different guitars/pickups will sound quite different with any given profile... Easy enough to dial 'em to your preference though and it's cool you did!

Not quite sure I understand what you're saying though on the cab thing. I profiled my amp and a real 4x12 cab in another room. The little cab in the alcove is just a speaker I use to play my Kemper in my living room, it was not used in any way to profile the amp. I put up a clip of a direct Kemper recording of the profile above as well...

Oh OK. For me on most profiles, it takes almost pegging the treble and presence before it really grinds. This one wouldn't let me turn those up very high. But I put an EQ in the DAW with a steep lowpass at 8K and a narrow bell at 3K and it really sounds killer.

Cool - glad you found something that worked for you!

Anybody else try it? Thoughts?

I am going to try getting my SPDIF out on my interface. I love the profile. I brought the gain down a hair but it's rad.
