Some people get upset? dude this is rig talk! s'what I come here for and help on certain issues...

I love seeing huge racks   and wow I love yours :D !!!

Thanks,

Someone, actually chastised me the other day for posting pics of my gear and accused me of showing off. Ehh, whatever... I certainly am not going to apologize for having the gear I have, I LOVE IT!!!

Thanks again and Best of luck on your tone journey. If I can help ever, shoot me an email anytime.
i am new here,,, but was wandering after just building my rig,,CAE 3+SE preamp,,ROLLS PATCHWORK switcher,,LEXICON PCM 80,,PCM70,,and two PCM41s,,BBE 862,,MARSHALL 50/50 DUAL MONO BLOC TUBE POWER AMP,,My question is,,can i use a YAMAHA-M 206,, 6 CHANNEL LINE MIXER to run my effects through,,It has 6 in and 2 out,,,,or would i need the line mixer from BRADSHAW,,am starting to get a little signal coloration ,,and it is becoming more noticeable in the clean channel, can tell the difference when going straight from preamp to power amp,,any suggestions,,money is getting tight,,,thanks for any and all input

6 channels isn't enough if you're going to run 4 stereo units in parallel, but yes you can use that mixer other than limiting your stereo possibilities from all the processors.
,,,thanks,,was not trying o show my rig off,,as it is small and modest,,but is lethal when put beside my old ECSTASY OR HERBERT and all the stompboxes,,,which i sold to start this project,,,not regretting the sell of any one of those,,just kind of got tired of using heads that were sounding bland after a few months,,,thus my 3+SE preamp was modded before it ever left the CAE factory,,had the 2nd channel modded to sound more like an early JCM800,and i love those PCM units,,they are truly state of the art and warm sounding ,,being as old as they are,I am running MONO at this time,,mainly because of so much other stage gear our band has gives me room most of the time for only one cabinet,,,everything runs through a GROUND CONTROL PRO,,The PCM 70 and both PCM 41s are relay switching only,,but the PCM 80 is run midi so i can change midi programs on the fly,,thats the only neat thing about the GSX GROUND CONTROL PRO,,is being able to run midi and relay switching simultaneously,,i do have a VHT 2150 power amp,,,but that thing is a bear for weight,,and the dual mono bloc 50/50 MARSHALL sounds pretty damn good when driven,,and not as heavy,,as the funds become more available,,i most likely will replace the ROLLS PATCHWORK SWITCHER wih either a BRADSHAW or a RJM SWITCHER,, may most likely get the CAE RS10 as well,,but for now,,,,its cool except for a line mixer,,since im running mono ,,i may try the YAMAHA 6 channel line mixer our keyboardist gave me to run my FX units through to see if it helps,,if i can figure out how to do it,,peace out,,Randy

No worries... Experiment and you'll gain way more than you will just reading. Here is how my rig is routed-- hopefully it'll help you out.

Thank you for your fast reply,,i should probably go ahead and spring for a line mixer that is dedicated to my rig ,,as it is ever changing,,,,will most likely go with the Bradshaw stuff,,but for the time being,, i will experiment on different hook ups,,i will let you know the outcome,,again thank you,,,by the way,,dont see many of those Schons around

I hear you re: the evolution of rigs. This version of mine makes #7 (I think). I used to use the Rane SM26 splitter mixers (they're rather inexpensive and you can find them on ebay for around $100)

fyi: The Schon was actually one of Neal's backup guitars (It's a Larrivee).

Keep Rockin

yea i do remember the Larrivee guitars,,KEE MARCELLO and John Norum from Europe was endorsed by LARRIVEE,,going to check up on the Rane SM26 splitter mixer
