It is now time to get some laughs out of my misfortune. Hey, one can cry only so long. Sometimes things in life are so freaking ridiculous you can't help but laugh. Lo and behold...

Where the hell did this crap come from????

Well, there you have it. The random toys and kids clothes that somehow found its way into a box containing a Diezel Einstein head. You couldn't script this.

now that is absolutely ridiculous, glad you're seeing the positive side, and major kudos to Brad to helping you out, another reason why this forum rules

the guy who shipped it should definitely pay for the damage, knowingly packing like that is unfathomable.

As crazy as it sounds, I really don't think the seller shipped it like that. I strongly believe that someone at USPS probably tore open a box by accident that had all the toys and clothes in it, didn't want to have to account for it (probably on the verge of getting fired for previous idiocy), and then found a big box, cut it open, put in the toys and clothes and taped it back up. Of course, in the process this moron may have dropped my amp, got angry and kicked it, or bungled in some other way.

I've heard from 3 different people from Diezel in the period of 8 hours. What can I say about these guys other than that they are absolutely amazing? Its not just great service. I got like 3 hours of sleep last night because I just couldn't bring myself to turn the Einstein off. It sounded that great. Fantastic product, amazing customer service.

Congratulations on the Einstein, what a great amp, I will never sell mine if I don't need to...

I'm sorry for what has happened to you, and its not a consolation when someone says that you're lucky it could have been worse. But I am going to say it, at least the amplifier works perfectly and that is very important. You can always repair or re-tolex. At least you don't have to ship the amp out again.

I doubt that the shipping company opened up your box, I think the seller is to blame in this case for having put those things inside an amp!

Good luck with everything!

Nico.

How much you asking for the Tambourines?

Sometimes I use those plastic grocery bags to help fill the voids in some of my packages. I always have an ample supply and it's easier to send them to my buyers than deal with them myself. :) I was tempted to use old shoes and other assorted household refuse a couple times but decided against it. ;)

I had an amp shipped to me a while back with a bag of weed in it :scared: It looked like it got stuck to the packing tape that the seller used to secure the bubble wrap around the amp. Dude probably still wonders what happened to that 1/8 :D

Could I have gotten in any trouble for that if the authorities found it prior to delivery?

Zaman, just saw this thread, I will help you.

I sell quite a bit of new Diezel product and will reach out to my German family and find out my cost for a replacement Einstein headshell which is what you need.

I will send it to you for my exact cost so you can get it back tip top shape and enjoy your amp. Heck if you like I will upgrade it to white tolex for you with blue knobs at no cost as well to help you out and turn lemons into lemonade and give you the baddest Einstein anyone has ever seen.

We are family here, we help each other.

Man, reading that gives me a bit of faith in honest kind human beings. I wish there were more people like you in the world Brad, and a lot of the other rig talk guys... Can't say anymore than that..

Peace out

Sorry about your misfortune. But....welcome to the Diezel Brotherhood. Are you sure someone at USPS didn't just fire up the Diezel right quick and the broken plate was the aftermath? Because my Herbert breaks shit all the time with it's brutal nature. :D

WTF is wrong with people? Packed an amp with toys? Friggin' brain dead.

Brad is the man, but you already know that.

Now would you really put it past the shipping company to do that?

The "kicking" video is exaggerated... It's not like he's kicking them like footballs (soccer)
Handling the packages with the hands would proably put the same stress on them.
Of course, in a situation where the meaning is to create a sensation, the video does the trick

Weird, no matter how it happened. glad it's getting resolved. I always do the photos, vid thing when I pack shit up to ship out too. better to be safe than sorry.

Come to think of it, some little girl might be missing her new clothes and tea set for which she's been waiting patiently for so long. :D

She's probably on a toddler's forum somewhere, complaining over USPS' service, and how stupid you have to be to get a job there
