I have been a Mesa guy as long as I can remember, (Roadster, Mark IV, Stiletto V1+2, Rectifier) but I finally decided to bite the bullet and pick up a Diezel Vh4. Holy cow, this thing sounds amazing!! Channel 1 can get super clean with headroom for days. Ch. 2 sounds great for a either a pushed clean sound with I throw an overdrive pedal over, or a great classic rock sound. Ch. 3 is the money channel. I am in alternative rock band, so this is my main sound. It is absolutely amazing. When I play a chord, ever note is hear crystal clear (something that seems to get a little lost in the Mesa's) and very rhythmic. Ch. 4 is a little much for me. It sounds really good for those 1 note at a time riffs, very metal. Didnt necessarily like it for leads. I think for that I'll stick with ch. 3 and put an OD pedal over it with some delay.
All in all, amazing amp. Just going to pick up an Acess CFX4 for my Roadster so I can run those in stereo. Give the Mark iv the bump.
